A swampy Maremma made up of navigable canals and frequented by migratory birds, where a Natural Reserve stretches out at the feet of a charming red house.  

You just need to wander from the historical centre of Castiglione della Pescaia to find yourself in front of two important icons of the area: Casa Rossa Ximenes, gateway to the Diaccia Botrona natural reserve, of which it also acts as a visitors’ centre.
